The simple Mission Statement of Engage is for Young Adults, Age 18-30, to Engage God, Engage Self, and Engage Others!
God created man and has been constantly pursuing him ever
since. The Bible says "We love Him becasue He first loved us."
(1 John 4:19). Or as I would put it, "We Engage Him because He first Engaged us." There was nothing we did to earn this love and yet, "...God shows His love for us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us," (Romans 5:8). Out of this great love in what God did for
us; we earnestly seek to Engage God in all of who He is!
At some point in our lives, everyone comes across the
desire to discover who they are and most of those self-
defining decisions are made between the ages of 18-30. The questions of “Who am I?" and "What am I here for?” begins the process of Engaging Self. We strongly believe that the answers
to those questions can be found as we Engage God through studying the Holy Bible. The more we Engage God; the more
He reveals to us who we really are!
When we Engage God and begin to discover who we really are,
we find that God does not want us to live life in isolation, but
rather in community. We strongly desire to Engage others so that
everyone feels as though they are apart of the family of God and can share in community. As we Engage God we also discover that we are
to Engage others with the love of Christ so that in turn they may Engage God, Self, and Others.
